Working over a big man with a head scissors. This guy is so much fun to wrestle. He's got great size and skill, but he's gentle and instructive. I've learned a lot from him. He's also courageous, fighting ill ness and injury to keep coming back to the mat. This shot is from our fourth match, and I can hardly wait for the fifth.

More on my wrestling history--including matches with this fellow--coming soon.

Just got done reading Your blog,I can relate to all you had to say,Ive had very simular experiences, Meeting that fist guy for wrestling,What if I get hard,Am I the only guy with these feelings about wrestling.Ever since watching wrestling on tv as a kid, I would think & dream about finding a freind who is into wrestling.I would look at my classmates & wonder if they would be into wrestling too, But never had the nerve to ask. Most kids were into baceball, football, soccer ect. In grade school their was no wrestling team or program. Then in jr high, I watched mt first hs wrestling match.I was not impressed. All you had to doo, Was pin the guy on his shoulders For a second or two, I thought, Whats the fun in that. Then later on in 9th grade I met my first wrestling bud. He had just moved hear from california. He invited me over after school & right away, asked if I wanted to wrestle. I was surprized. I told him that I have never wrestled before, but would give it a try. We wrestled for what seemed to be hours, He liked the same wrestling I allways dreemed about.Pro style with long held holds to a "I Give" rather then a sinple pin.He told me that he was a hs school wrestler at one time, but was dropped from the team for useing prostyle holds & not conforming the the lame stlye that hs wrestling is.I was impressed.A guy who thought the same as I did about hs wrestling. We were the best of buds for about 1 yr, then his family moved to florida, Dam I thought.
I just lost my dream Bud.Soon after I was in sr high school. I still had the same thoughts about wrestling, & again would look at my classmates & wonder. As like most my classmates We got our drivers license & got jobs after school. I got a job at a warehouse loading trucks. It was great to meet more people from other schools in the area. One day I heard a ruckus in one of the trailers being loaded.I walked in & found 2 of my coworkers wrestling on the floor. One guy said in a loud voice, Get in hear, we need a ref.He had the other guy in a tight headlock & said, Ask him if he gives, I was stunned at first, but walked closer & asked the guy getting worked over, You Give ?, He qwickly replied No way, Then held his hand out & said, Tag, Tag, dam it. I slapped his hand & the guy let him out of the headlock & qwickly jumped to his feet.& before I knew it he trapped me in a bearhug & slammed me into the wall of the trailer. He was a well built stocky guy & strong as hell. He held me in the bearhug for what seemed to be 5 mins. Then all of the sudden The break time buzzer sounded. He released the bearhug & said, Dam most guys would have given up by now, your one tough ####er. The 3 of us walked to the break room & sat down & talked wrestling all through the break. Then the buzzer rang again, The 3 of us walked back to the loading dock, & just before the 3 of us made it back to that trailer, Our supervisor stoped us & said, If I hear enymore rough houseing in hear, Your all going home. With that said, we did not continue the match. I became good buds with both these guys, & we would get together after work sometimes & wrestle. But like before,People move, change jobs & loose touch with each other. Well got to go for now. If enybody is intrested in My qwest for wrestling buds, Let me know.woodsman11@msn.com
